Timber skillion roof preferred option

Timber skillion shelters are Redlands City Council’s preference for its numerous parks, and Landmark have supplied several for the region, on the eastern bayside of Brisbane.

Dog owners in the suburbs, keen to give their hound some play time, are numerous, hence the 10 x 4 metre Peninsula Shelter Landmark supplied for the off-leash park in Capalaba.

The shelter, complete with timber front screen and side screens to allow flow through ventilation, gives patient dog owners welcome shade, and a place to sit quietly.

Landmark timber skillion shelters are prominent throughout the shire, and have often replaced older, brick/mortar style shelters.

All these shelters were delivered in kit form – full wrapped with all components and instructions ready for any semi-skilled worker to assemble. Kit form allows for quicker construction, and no loud cutting of timber on-site which can easily disrupt surrounding houses in such parks.
