Bancal

The Bancal bench forms extensive lines of seating, where humility takes precedence over any rhetorical manifesto. Composed of elements with minimal formal expression and increased communal function, a sheet of folded steel shapes the structure, with the seat and backrest being composed of solid wooden slats.

Modular and robust

A simple, efficient urban bench, designed for interaction scenarios, and for withstanding extreme uses. The possibility of alternating or aligning backrests allows for the creation of everyday settings that reinforce social wellbeing, while the superior materials withstand the demands of the urban space.

  • Structure created using a 6 mm sheet of hot-dip galvanized S235 JR steel, thermal coating finish with C3 anti-corrosive protection.
  • Seat and backrest made from tropical wood slats with FSC 100% Certification, 50/65 x 160 mm, protected with a single coat of oil.
  • Optional armrests made from AISI304 stainless steel.
  • A2 stainless steel screws.
