Born to renew the urban landscape of Barcelona in anticipation of the 1992 Olympics, the company has built a reputation of innovation in urban lighting, street furniture, micro-architecture and trees. Today, urbidermis is leading the change towards greener, more connected and more human cities.

1985

Santa & Cole began to publish lighting for indoor spaces.

1987

Barcelona is named the host of the 1992 Olympic Games, and the urban division of Santa & Cole is born.

2018

In 2018, urbidermis: Urbi (city), dermis (skin) as a company of the Santa & Cole group.

2021

urbidermis expanded it’s catalogue with trees and plants for the city.
