Landmark K9400 skillion restroom matching existing roof profiles in Scarborough, QLD
Contemporary Skillion roof designs

The term skillion is most commonly used when referring to a plain roof with a single slope and no ridge. As with most terms in building there is a wide variety of regional differences in naming roof parts and types, and skillion roofs are sometimes referred to as shed roofs or flat roofs.

Skillion roofs gained popularity in Australia in the 1950’s, when it was viewed as an inexpensive roofing option. Although they never went out of fashion, there has been a resurgence in popularity which has more to do with style and design, rather than simplicity and low cost.

Landmark’s K300 and K630 skillion roof shelters offer all the benefits of traditional skillion-roof design. In parks their impact on the surroundings is minimised by the low roof profile and standard 10° pitch, while the single roof plane allows rain water to be captured and channelled efficiently.

As with most Landmark products we offer restrooms to match shelter profiles, allowing you to maintain a cohesive design aesthetic in park structures or match surrounding buildings as necessary. K9400 Coastal restrooms are based on our K300 timber shelters, while the skillion option in our all-steel K9500 Caretaker restrooms is matched by our K630 all-steel skillion shelters.

In addition to our standard range, we have the expertise to modify our products or develop custom skillion products in consultation with you. Whether you need to match an existing building, or develop a product for a unique application or environment, with access to 20 years of standard and custom projects, we have the right solution for you.
